HVAC BIM modeling coordinated, efficient HVAC systems in BIM
We turn drawings, schematics and engineering criteria into accurate, coordinated HVAC BIM models, ready to integrate with every other discipline on the project.

The air that runs through a building, resolved before site work
Our service serves residential, commercial, industrial and institutional projects that need a reliable digital model for coordination, documentation and construction. Ducts, equipment and terminals are modeled with their real geometry and integrated with architecture, structure and the other MEP disciplines.
Air path
Air reaches every zone
The main duct leaves the air handling unit, splits into branches and delivers at every diffuser. The model resolves that path before it exists on site.

Advantages
Why model in BIM with ?
Real coordination
Ducts and equipment coordinated with architecture, structure and the other MEP disciplines.
Clashes caught early
Crossings with beams, pipes and trays are found in the model, not in the ceiling void.
Less rework
What gets built has already been checked in the model.
Organized information
Parametric families and BIM naming for documentation and planning.
Quantities from the model
Sheet metal elements quantified directly from the HVAC model.

Frequently asked questions
What is HVAC BIM modeling?
It is the development of a three-dimensional digital model of air conditioning, ventilation and exhaust systems, with organized technical information for coordination, documentation and construction.
Does the service include HVAC design?
No. KAMON & CO. carries out BIM modeling of the system only. Mechanical design, cooling load calculations, equipment sizing and selection, ductwork design and calculation reports must be supplied by the client or their engineering consultant.
What information do I need for a quote?
Drawings, schematics, design reports, technical specifications or any available documentation of the HVAC system, together with the expected LOD and timeline. With that we define the scope and prepare a tailored proposal.
Which level of development (LOD) do you offer?
We model from LOD 100 to LOD 400, according to project requirements and stage: LOD 100 to 200 for schematics and general layouts, LOD 300 for coordination and documentation, LOD 350 to 400 when supports, fittings and construction detail are required.
How long does the model take?
The timeline follows the size of the project or the date the client needs: we assess the scope and confirm in the quote whether it can be met. We reply to every inquiry in under 24 business hours, and a formal quote takes 1 to 2 business weeks once we have the complete information.
Which disciplines can it be coordinated with?
Architecture, structure and the other MEP disciplines, to identify clashes before construction and improve project integration.
Which software do you use?
Autodesk Revit for modeling, Autodesk Navisworks for coordination and review, and Autodesk Construction Cloud when the project requires it.
Do you deliver system quantities?
Yes. The scope includes sheet metal quantities from the HVAC model. For full takeoffs across all MEPF disciplines we offer MEPF BIM quantity takeoff.
Do you work with clients outside Colombia?
Yes. We are a fully remote firm with projects in Colombia and abroad. We deliver in Revit 2026 or later, and in IFC for teams working on other platforms.
Do you sign confidentiality agreements?
Yes. When the project requires it, we sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before receiving any information.
